Wow, I've found some tiny stuff with mine. A really, really small lead weight (about half the size of a 5p) and other stuff. Can't remember the depth, but remember being impressed, so it was probably more than 5 inches.

I find those tiny targets give a 'wimpy' signal. Quite a far away bleep. Sometimes it won't appear again on the second sweep. I tend to dig a bit, and then investigate further when I get those signals.

I've had a cut quarter...but only one in the last year. I can't find them though if they aren't there. Teeny bits of lead and pellets do pop up though so I'm confident my CM6MX isn't missing anything I sweep over.

I did a test on a 2p coin at 12" my 3MX 8" Polo just picks it up. However on auto ground balance my 6MXI did not pick it up, I had to do a manual ground balance for it to work. I think I'll do a ground balance in future, although maybe I worry too much as most stuff is prob in 1st 4-5 inches?
