Interesting to see, they were also getting coins at ten inches.

I thought I was going mad!

Yup, will get round to it when I can. Need to get hold of a 2D head though, as I now use the larger head. Very busy, so not sure when it will be.

Sens Max, Ground Auto; pound coin (flat) brings faint signal at 8 inches, no more.

Thats it, then.

I got one of the first models, and the reviewers would have got one of the first models. Those models eventually went mad due to the chattering problems, because they were over-sensitive.

The models released after had a little less power to over-come the high sensitivity problem.

Thats the way I see it, anyway.

I should probably do a video on that, or explain that on the depth test video. I'll get onto it Smile

Sounds feasible; model-era theories. I can summon the tiniest chirps air testing when I turn sensitivity to max. Coming in about 1 every 10 seconds. More on the ground, but then my garden must have been a shotgun range in the past...
Presumably the air testing chirping 'signals' are from EMF/mobile phones etc?

It does seem as though the range from 1-10 does not take the unit into 'too hot'.

Again, what I want to do is compare mine with another's, of any age. And again, the second best option would be to get swinging outside of my trash filled garden- it makes for a terrible learning experience! Rolling Eyes

I've never had luck in gardens. Mine goes mad, every time I try and do a test. My plan was to do all depth tests etc in my back garden, but there was no way that was happening once I turned the machine on. So much interference around the place.

The only time I was ok on one, is when i did a 16th century house that was out in the country!

Muddy.

I've explained why this is.  It's the same reason the people who reviewed it got the same results.  I've explained it in PM's to you, and I've explained it above.  It's not my fault.  I don't work for Cscope in any way.

I'm sure you're also blaming the magazine that reviewed it as well? Maybe you should write into them?

Why would I test again though? i wasn't told it would perform different, and I didn't notice any difference. There was absolutely no reason to test again, It was the same machine as far as i was concerned.

Most of my finds come up around six inches. Its rare I go any deeper, unless its a larger object or iron.

But even with the loss of an inch or two, its still an amazing machine and I really don't care. The recovery time is way more important on my land Smile

Firstly, how?  How is it a con?

Secondly, why would I bother doing that?  What an absolute waste of my time, and I'm not that sad.  What would I have to gain?  I don't get paid for what I do.  I do it off my back to help people.  Again, and I've said this god knows how many times now IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

I've spent a lot of my time helping you, and to be honest you've annoyed me.
